Apps
Featured apps
Small, focused apps for Android. The catalogue starts with one and grows as each new app is ready.
In developmentPrinciples
What every app here has to get right.
Three rules that shape every decision, from the first sketch to the last pixel.
Simplicity
Powerful functionality without unnecessary complexity. Each app does one job well, and every setting has to earn its place.
Thoughtful design
Intuitive experiences with attention to detail: readable type, calm motion, dark mode, and screens that work with a screen reader.
Everyday usefulness
Software that solves real problems. Every app starts from a real, everyday need, and keeps your data on your device where possible.

Hi, I'm Kaya.
I enjoy turning ideas into useful, thoughtfully designed applications. Kaya Kanal Apps is where I build and share independent software projects.
There is no team behind this, just me: designing, building, testing and answering your emails myself.
