About

Useful apps, made with care, by one developer.

Hi, I'm Kaya. Kaya Kanal Apps is my independent project for building and sharing apps. I'm a developer and entrepreneur based in the Netherlands.

My mission is simple: to create useful, accessible, and thoughtfully designed applications that improve everyday experiences.

How I work

Small on purpose.

Built by one person

I design, build, test and support every app myself. That keeps the apps small and focused, and means you are talking to the person who made them.

Your data stays yours

Apps work without an account wherever possible and store data on your device. Each app has a privacy policy written for what it actually does.

Released when ready

An app is marked as in development until it is ready. No inflated launch claims, no countdowns, just a Google Play link when it is done.

Right now

Building Forma Focus

The first app is a calm Pomodoro timer with tasks and statistics. It is in development for Android, and its page shows exactly where it stands.

Kaya Kanal Webdesign

Next to the apps I run a separate web design business, building websites for clients. If you are looking for a website rather than an app, that is the place to go.
